The Odd Chair Company - Victoria James
The Odd Chair Company hand makes all of their designs in a truly traditional way. The highly skilled craftsman only use the very finest of materials, such as English webbings, hair, coir, hessian and the softest wool wadding. Each frame is created from solid Beech, Mahogany, Oak or Walnut which is glued, pegged and blocked. The cushions are also made with the same amount of care; pure feather and down fillings are used, or non allergy fillings and barrier cloths are offered for allergy suffers. Each individual creation is upholstered using a fabric perfectly suited to its use; there is a vast array of fabrics to choose from in varying designs and weights.The family run Odd Chair Company also undertake bespoke commissions and restore treasured antiques with the same high standards. They are trusted by both interior designers and private clients alike and in addition to their extensive range of over 140 designs; they also offer a full interior design service.
